Golden Tears

And the sun joined her sorrow with a thousand golden teardrops. For an hour they wept, she alone and bereft the sun waning as the day would end.

It was one of those loops in time where the flow is disrupted, when a pebble causes more than just a ripple. Just like the way my heart would stop when I saw her.

Won’t you let me kiss away the tears?
